SCORE, "the Service Corps of Retired Executives", is a nonprofit counseling and training organiztion for U.S. based small businesses. SCORE is operated under a grant from the Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE executives are retired successful business men/women who now bring their wealth of experience and expertise to help other entrepreneurs. The SCORE program offers free professional counseling and advice to business owners who cannot afford the high cost of professional business consultants.
SCORE currently offers business counseling and workshops at 389 chapter offices. There are SCORE chapters in every state. For the past 40 years SCORE has made a difference in the success of American small businesses.
